THE COLLECTION

TOO (adv.), in the meaning of "excessively," is a conceptual collection inspired by insomnia. Remember the nights where your mind just wanders, the nights where you deal with exhaustion and overthinking. Those nights where you are stressed and you keep staring at the ceiling, nights where you are deeply in love and you miss them so much, nights where you are anxious about tomorrow's presentation, and nights where you are excited for new opportunities. The feelings that are tangibly intangible. The sleepless nights where your mind goes through layers of thoughts over and over to no end.

 

The collection consists of five simply-constructed outfits in the style of bedtime attire. Light and airy tulle and mesh are intertwined using hand-tacking techniques, randomly placed and deeply layered to emphasize the inescapable discomfort of troubled sleep.

 

Too was featured at  the Little Black Dress Gala, 2016 , organized by the Help Change My City Alliance and again at the Gala for Good, 2018, organized by the UBC Red Cross Club.
